What's in a British? That which we call a British by any other British would smell as British. I'm a misplaced American with a bachelor's degree from England. I like to edit magazines about sciart and travel and bake brownies out of a box and then eat the brownies. Currently on a traveling adventure, beginning in Toronto! Sometimes I do crazy things like tell other people to eat crickets.
Beware of nominalizations (AKA zombie nouns)
Few mistakes sour good writing like nominalizations, or, as Helen Sword likes to call them, zombie nouns. Zombie nouns transform simple and straightforward prose into verbose and often confusing writing. Keep your nouns away from elongating nominalizations!
